To be...

To be...

A Poem by Not Afraid of Bruises
"

wrote this on the fly...

"

sunlight.

a funny thing that filters through

objects,

and people and

things.

it enters our mind when the desert sun

is merciless and cruel but

then it returns when

the river is about to

draw us

in, swallow us whole.

to be a beam, ever

in use to

create

destory

and always be present...

but I would still be filterd,

and missing parts that

make me human.

Author's Note

Not Afraid of Bruises
the basic stuff - be brutal - no one ever became a better writer because people were nice :)

Excellent poem. Concise, beautiful, tight from first word to last.
