you and me

you and me

A Poem by cade
"

found this in an old note book of mine, spruced it up and here it is

"

gotta light?

you say through clenching teeth

my charm is wearing thin,

on winter nights,

the cold air bites my tongue,

constricts and then relaxes.

hail mary,

the cross weighs heavy on my soul.

your pale green eyes no longer yield comfort,

but despise at my very being,

im sorry for what ive done.

these things i cannot change.
