I love you so much it makes me hurt before I hurt

It makes me feel and feel and feel

until I forget numb

Over and over I try to put my feelings away

away from me

The closer they are the harder it is to pretend not to be

The closer you are the harder it is to pretend to be numb

And I hear your voice and wait for your breath on my neck

My mind wanders to you

your smell your scent your body sticking to mine

Under you- your shoulders casting a dark shadow over my naked body

Your laugh making me laugh

even when I am mad at you for being you

The longer I stay the more I want and never before did I want just want

Want, want, want and hope for happiness

in spite of my evergloomed forecast

When I feel your arms around me I think anything is possible

anything at all

And I think we should be together

and nothing will ever undermine us

Great love poem, I'm a sucker for them, I will admit. By the way, awesome first line. It sucked me right in with its curiosity, "it makes me hurt before I hurt." Wow, stunning, really.
