Mist

Soon I shall be blind

And see only you

Through the colourless haze,

Repeating the parting mists

In your descent.

You shall never return

To the mist,

But catch blindness

And colour our ascent

As I keep you from falling

Into the wilderness,

Only to emerge from another.
