2000 hours          May 8th 2007          7 Confirmed Kills

          I am writing to tell you about one of the greatest turnabouts so far. It was about 1500 hours; we were all getting ready to go over the top. All the sudden we hear 2 artillery shots and then the sound of hundreds of Arabs charging at us followed. I grabbed my Kar 98 rifle, jumped up, and began to fire. Everyone scrambled into action. The MG42 crews began mercilessly cutting scores of them down. My first shot hit an Arab in his chest, sending him to the ground. The Arabs were charging at us by the hundred firing their Mas rifles and a few brave ones ran at us with Madsen light machine guns. The Mod 16 crews fired their 1^st shot landing in the middle of a group of 5 Arabs sending them into our barded wire. My 2^nd shot hit a ski masked Arab in his face, nixing him. My next 3 shots were all spent trying to hit the same Arab, but with the last shot I got him. As I reloaded I looked at the draftee next to me. He then caught a Mas round to the neck. The guy on the other side of me lay in firing position with a bullet in his brain. I began to fire relentlessly again. Arabs were being cut down quicker than they could come, by artillery, MG, and rifle fire. I looked down the trench at the anti-US, anti-draft, anti-war traitor, he hadn’t even fired. I pulled my dagger from my belt, snuck up on him, then put my hand over his mouth and stabbed him in the chest. The guy next to him saw me, but was hit seconds later in the back of the head. As I made my way back to my spot, I fired killing a masked Arab at the barded wire. 5 guys had taken my spot; a Molotov flew at them and set them all afire. I shot the Molotov chucker as the others burned to death. The Mod 16 fired again and then 5 others and myself volleyed cutting down a group of them. Seconds later there was silence. Someone shouted “Ceasefire!” It was over, the Arab counterattack was over. We must have got at least 800 of them, our casualties were 30 dead and 39 wounded. I knew we truly arrived at hell.
