Every TimeA Poem by A.Lee
It's the little things in life
That bring such warmth into my heart The things that others just call 'normal' Things they never set apart But I remember each 'I love you' Every time you called me sweet Every hug you wrapped me in Every time that we would meet I recall your tone of voice The words so coated with concern And even still I cannot fathom How on earth your love I earned Ever since I can remember Life has been so dark, so cold That every little act of kindness Shakes my very heart and soul Though you may think it goes unnoticed I'd give my life just to repay All the little things you do Each time you chase the dark away © 2010 A.LeeAuthor's Note
