Writer's Block

a poem about writers block. ironic?

There's a poem in my head
It just refuses to come out
While its playing hide and seek
The words all run and prance about

As I try to shape the letters
They all turn and run away
So this poem just won't be written
I'll try again some other day

Author's Note

I had a poem in my head yesterday and it just refused to come out no matter how much I tried, so I wrote this instead :) Maybe it'll come back another day when its ready to be written.
