No Time

No Time

A Poem by A.Lee
"

we have no time... take advantage of every moment.

"

Like a fleeting dream life passes by

We don’t realize until its too late

That life’s too short for hate and hurt

We have no time to wait

We think we always have tomorrow

We’ll see them later on

But tomorrow had never been promised

It could very well be gone

We pass our loved ones day by day

Not telling them of their worth

Not cherishing those little moments

While we walk upon this earth

But in a moment life can change

Like a candle’s flame goes out

And we act so shocked that we missed our chance

When we failed to seek it out

And like a fleeting dream life passes by

Never realizing until its too late

That life’s too short for hate and hurt

We have no time to wait

Great wisdom in your words. Time is our greatest wealth. I wish for a few minute to thank a grandparent who raise me. Today I look back and if I could do many things different. The story and logic in your words are true. These are the poem that leave the reader with wisdom and thoughts.

This is emotive and passionately wrote with awesome dedication. Life can pass way too quickly and there is something in this that we can relate to xx

I love this. It hits a bit close to home, my grandfather died 2 months ago and i didn't get to say good bye. I love this, it reminds me of why I need to appreciate my crazy family and friends

So true and so touching. We’ll see them later on

But tomorrow had never been promised

It could very well be gone

those lines were really true and
We pass our loved ones day by day

Not telling them of their worth

Not cherishing those little moments

While we walk upon this earth

were really great ! well done

fantastic lines, we regret when our dear ones are not near us, but fail to express our love or realize their value when they are with us, our life is short and we need to make it worth while..... lovely poem

Oh, my; you, almost, managed it (to make me cry!) I, always, told my Mom, if she cried that it was good!!

This stuck in my head especially. I've been there. The regret is the worst part of it all, because you can always "do something".

this is what i always say -- give them their flowers while they are living -- let them smell and enjoy them -- life is way too short -- love your words
