The Translucent GirlA Poem by cRaYoNs sTaLk mEI am translucent. People may see me, But they just pass right by. They only see me, As the translucent girl, With a smile on her face.I am translucent. People may see me, But they just pass right by. Glance at me, Ignore me, And turn away. I’m always like this. Even people who notice me, Treat me like this. They notice, And smile, But they will never know. I always get treated, Like I’m not there, Or like they don’t know me, The real me, The one who isn’t as sheltered, As she seems. Maybe that’s why, I fall in love so fast, Or more like admiration. Just the feeling of being wanted, Or liked. And they will never know, How wholesome I am. They only see me, As the translucent girl, With a smile on her face. © 2011 cRaYoNs sTaLk mEAuthor's Note
