Hopeful Longing

I have so many things to tell you
So many things to explain
You will not listen
You do not want to hear me

So I keep it inside
The wound has been closed
Somehow it always
Gets opened back up again

There will be a day
When all will be forgotten
This is the day
That I long to see...
