Stress

Stress

A Story by Charlène Boutin

The walls are closing in around me.

It squeezes, kills, eats me inside.

Can't breathe, can't speak,

Can only give in to the power...

The power of that presence overcoming me.

It presses against my heart and makes me sweat

It is a threat

Against my sanity.

Right now it is stinging

And I know not what to say,

What to do,

Where to go or look.

Oh, this hit me so hard, just thinking that you could be pressed through so dark a space. A powerful glimpse of the mind in restless wonder. Take care, my dear friend.

About
There's more to this world than we see. Artists are gifted with the vision of this world, and can bring forward these visions to others. The world I see goes beyond my eyes, beyond my own life. I hop.. more..
