SufferingA Poem by Charlène BoutinThis is more of a song than a poem; I do sing it and all.I'm bleeding, I'm bleeding Just can't seem to shake it off Feel like I am dying Trying to sort out all my feelings And what do you expect? How can I protect my soul?
I'm breathing, I'm breathing But every breath hurts me more Like a hole making me sore Trying to fix it up once more What do people expect After everything I've bet (and lost)?
And I know I'm a mess, And I can't help but confess The things I am not guilty for I know, I'm not strong I know I'm doing everything wrong Just hope I ain't dragging you down with me I'm suffering, everyone can see
I cannot foresee The next page of the story But it ain't gonna be anny worse Because it couldn't get any worse... © 2010 Charlène BoutinAuthor's Note
