Ache

Ache

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

It hurts to be away, even for just a minute.

"

Every second that I spend away from you...

I hurt.

Every moment that I am not drowning in your eyes...

I cry.

Everytime I think of you far away...

I sigh.

Every day spent without your company...

I die.

It's like an ache down in my heart

An ache that lasts when we're apart

Only your amber eyes can soothe the pain

Until we are parted again...

I dream of the ectasy

That your simple touch will give me

I wait for you and I cry

'Til I heart your voice; my lullaby...

So powerful, expressing a love so deep and an endless, precious passion... Beautifully written and heartfelt... Interesting that the Latin word passio from which we get the word passion means "pain."
