Your Priceless Smile

Your Priceless Smile

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

:)

"

What is better than shiny gold?

What could be sweeter than lies untold?

It is a treasure I cannot hold

A priceless expression that cannot be sold.

Your smile, so pure

So gentle and true

A smile that can cure

The sadness in you

Sweet candy I taste

When your lips curl merrily

Oh, how I want to kiss this smile

That haunts me endlessly!

This is one of the rare poems which I don't write spontaniously; I wrote this one at school when I had nothing else to do.

Sweet !
Fait du bien de voir une quebecoise ici !

I like this one, its honest and pure. It also flows very very smoothly. The rhyming scheme is also refreshing, A
A
A
A

B
B
B

etc..

Nicely done !

So beautifully expressive, passionate, tender, and lifting to the spirit... And yes, there are smiles that move us just like this! Wonderful write, my friend!

To kiss a smile would hinder the encompassing of any approaching frown;
this made me smile.

Thank you for sharing your beauty.

There's more to this world than we see. Artists are gifted with the vision of this world, and can bring forward these visions to others. The world I see goes beyond my eyes, beyond my own life. I hop.. more..
