Just WordsA Poem by Charlène BoutinWhen it comes to love, words don't matter...I love you...
I love you "with all of my heart", I love you "greatly", "more than anything in the world" I love you "more than myself", my love for you is "greater than the Gods"...
If you ever hear me speak this way, slap me. If you ever surprise me describing my love to you like this, punish me. These words are anchors weighing down on the truth Sinking it to the bottom of the lake of emotion I don't want to drown you, my love... I don't want to lie to you, my love...
"I love you", pure and complete Needs no fancy ribbons to hide its true face "I love you" means everything more Than any other sweet word.
Understand that I do not love you "greatly" Or "Forever, baby" Or any other way, The three words that express my true feeling Are more powerful than any fancy fake...
