So Far Away...

So Far Away...

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

This is a dedication to the friends I have been separated from; although we are far away, they will remain in my heart forever.

"

The very days were swift and soft

Like morning dew rising aloft

Our link was strong, unbreakable

To break our bond was unthinkable

The singing sea of violet laughter

Was what defined the solid barrier

That we call friendship...

Although now we are far away

I am not afraid to say

The bond holds strong; will never break

Our sacred link; distance will never take

Val d'Or, Red Lake; two different places

What difference does it really make?

Distance will never change my intention

To show my true feelings and affection

Nothing will ever destroy the things we have wrought

The things that cannot be sold nor bought...

We send our dreams through Dream Mail

In our hearts lives a Red d'Or

Where we will always sail

Forever and evermore...

It lasts.

It's strong.

It's precious.

It's what I treasure.

It's the friendship we have wrought...

Such deep devotion, a loyalty that transcends time and place... Love the rhythm and movement of your passages, and the profoundly moving message... What a better place the world would be with more friends like you...

There's more to this world than we see. Artists are gifted with the vision of this world, and can bring forward these visions to others. The world I see goes beyond my eyes, beyond my own life. I hop.. more..
