Heal Me

Heal Me

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

Only you can heal me...

"

I have being wounded by the knives of curiosity.

Heal me.

They have cut into my heart for the sake of monstruosity.

Repair me.

The health of my soul has been breached and impaired

You are the only chance for it to ever be repaired

Comfort my hurt.

Take me in, warm me up

By the fire that is your heart

Don't break me back apart...

Words of the blind slice through my veins

It is for you that my heart remains

Alive, pulsing

Thriving

Surviving

Soothe my mind

Don't leave me behind

You are my only connection

That my mind will mention

Hold me to life against your skin

Don't ever let go; release my sins

Heal me...

The anguish of the soul aches to be soothed.. Quite and impressive display of strong emotion artistically expressed.

Your words are so powerful, tender, hopeful... The poetic expression is almost lyrical, moving like a song with a soulful, passionate rhythm. So well done, to capture the words of the heart so perfectly!
