His Fire

His Fire

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

The idea of a fire in his eyes.

"

His Fire.

It blazes in his eyes

More fiercely than any other flame.

Destroys the Hell that inhabits my soul

For its heat is more perilous than the Devil’s wrath.

Visions of his inferno melt my thoughts

My knees buckle at the smell of his

Smoke, emerging from

His Fire.

Um... kinda crappy in my opinion, but my spontaniety was spoiled by a certain person who was making me burn with rage. Sorry. Lolz.

Always so self critical, aren't you? lol
A very passionate piece; the use of dark metaphors to describe affection adds to the ambience.
Nice.

Funny note you give us, but perfectly framed poem! Has a deep sense of something ancient and modern; something that transcends time... This fire has a sense of passion and pain; love and fear... Insightful and driven!

I like this just as is. Wouldn't change anything.

Wow, this is amazingly sexy, sensual and hot without saying anything vulgar, you are painting a hot, wanting woman who burns for her man. Very great write!

There's more to this world than we see. Artists are gifted with the vision of this world, and can bring forward these visions to others. The world I see goes beyond my eyes, beyond my own life. I hop.. more..
