This Heart of Mine

This Heart of Mine

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

The first poem I wrote about my first experience in falling in love. I wrote it for a nationwide contest a year ago.

"

This heart of mine

Saw only the wrong light

Forgot to lighten

The rest of the room

And suddenly

The lights are opened

I see this dream

He comes to me

He torments me

Visits me in my sleep

I long for his presence

When I am awake

He hides in me

My thoughts are disturbed

He makes me crazy

It's all in my mind

I must be strong

And carry on

It's just a dream

But he feels so real

I can't forget this dream...

About
There's more to this world than we see. Artists are gifted with the vision of this world, and can bring forward these visions to others. The world I see goes beyond my eyes, beyond my own life. I hop.. more..
