Tornado of EmotionA Poem by Charlène BoutinWill it remain forever the same?Am I lost in my own mind? Did I leave it all behind? How must I swim back to reality? Where did I end up in this mystery? It has twirled around my feet Pulled on hard and drove me deep Right to the core of insanity... Locked away from reality... Choking on my grief Awaiting the relief Of remembrance And deliverance An eternity left to go For my mind to remain so Emotions in me stinging The anguish ever rising My own thoughts whip my back 'Til the bones become slack And the blood had dripped down On my innocence; my only gown Shuddering pain No personal gain Will it remain Forever the same? My mind's eyes are closed and hidden My heartbeat stops, my thoughts have fallen In this tornado I am imprisonned Never again will my dear soul be reasonned © 2008 Charlène BoutinAuthor's Note
