Silence So StrangeA Poem by Charlène BoutinAin't my best, but I really wanted to write something.Silence so strange...
My eyes still meet yours, they shine with excitement, but I can sense that the spark that once lit your soul is gone.
Silence so murderous...
My mouth opens, but the words, too numerous, remain jammed in my throat and chokes me, hurts me, makes the tears flow down my cheeks.
Silence so mischevious...
Our hearts lost the link, there is no communication between our once so active and playful minds.
Silence so painful...
My hand reaches for yours, my soul cries out for mercy, but you remain indifferent to my pain in this silence.
Silence so sinful...
Madness consumes me, and still there is that haunting silence that has stolen your place inside of my heart.
