Mistaken?

Mistaken?

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

I hate that horrible feeling after you discover you were mistaken.

"

Is it life that I have mistaken?

Did I really think I could create heaven?

How was it that I believed my dream?

What made me believe your love was seen?

You've broken my heart more than once

You don't care at all for me!

T'was that dream that made me believe

That together we were meant to be happy.

Visions lost,

Beliefs torn,

I believe I could have sworn

You really wanted me by your side.

But alas,

Love even took my pride!

Brilliant twist of words and thoughts, meandering through your mind... Yes, it can truly be haunting to find you are mistaken, especially about love (something so deeply emotional)... Wonderful write!

There's more to this world than we see. Artists are gifted with the vision of this world, and can bring forward these visions to others. The world I see goes beyond my eyes, beyond my own life. I hop.. more..
