I think of you

I think of you

A Poem by Charlène Boutin
"

I wrote this a year ago when I first fell in love.

"

Alone in my bed
In the middle of the night
I can’t sleep anymore
I’m thinking of you.

I think of today
Of all memories I have
All of them so good
Then I think of tomorrow

Tomorrow when you’ll be
At school with me
That’s what I have in mind
All night.

So when the day ends
And the bus comes for me
I hurry outside
So once more you I see.

The bus ride is long
But I still think of you
Of when you looked at me
And I looked back at you.

In the morning I wake
I take that bus once more
Longing to arrive
So I can see you again.

I see you in English
And also in History
Sometimes in Science
These classes make me happy.

Some of them say
That you love me too
In my wildest dreams
I just hope it is true.

It’s like that all week
And all month too
When will it stop?
It’s up to me and you.

When will we act?
We just never know
What the future will bring us

Today or tomorrow.

About
There's more to this world than we see. Artists are gifted with the vision of this world, and can bring forward these visions to others. The world I see goes beyond my eyes, beyond my own life. I hop.. more..
