Flight of thought.

Flight of thought.

A Poem by keylane3

With banality this lecture continues on.
Like drones we sit.
Glazed eyes.
A conflict of the highest.
Thirst for knowledge but none of this sort.
I've heard this all before.
The amazement of biology.
The language in which "god" created.
Anatomy and physiology.
My mind wanders to the forever-relevant debate,
Creationism versus evolution.
Can't argue with the blatant similarities between man and monkey.
Perhaps evolution?
Yet we were created in gods minds' eye?
Descendants of Adam and Eve?
I do so enjoy the "forbidden fruit".
The very center of womanhood.
Forbade to me by the arguments of religion.
