Kiss of LifeA Poem by KimiLife hidden in darkness Sunlight his curse Never aging, forever young; beautiful Past dripping of pain and heartbreak. Creature with skin pale, ashen; like milk Eyes as stars of the heavens Stalker of midnight moonlight Companion to those close to death He lusts for the sweet taste of blood Craving smooth defenseless necks of innocents; Untainted by evil and corruption. Touch chilling, penetrating, Strait to the heart Entrapping your very spirit. Wise beyond his years, And his appearance He longs for love, To be loved; In the presence of the living Of life. Endlessly searching for his soul mate To be eternally together; in the shadows of existence.
He finds me Affairs are arranged My transformation planned, Me to be his kind With no interference. Gently caressing my
anxious throat Placing his lips against me Opening his mouth slowly Fangs sliding out from beneath My neck punctured, Blood flowing free He drinks, Drinks until there is no more.
In dieing, I am reborn I am alive We participate in an emotional ritual Piercing the lining of his wrist Blood streams from his wound An endless river, Sweet vermillion red Taking his wrist I place it against my tongue Taste overwhelms me I desire more and MORE I must have MORE.
Finally I stop His hands outlining my trembling body Fingers lingering and set upon my face Now snow white Transfixed we stare at each other Witnessing pure bliss A passionate kiss initiated In which at that moment, my prince of the underworld breathed life back into me.
Both now entities beyond this realm Free from pain Free from suffering No longer a human of the living I am like him, a vampire Vampires we are Sharing our immortality Entwined together as one. © 2012 Kimi |
