Bled Out

Bled Out

A Poem by Kimi

The rose of my heart withers

The stem of thorns slowly strangling my soul

My pain screams within me

But my mind silences them

In the mirror my reflection cries

Weakness takes over

Darkness cloaks my eyes

Breath of life, I awaken

Light searing my vision

Voices surround me

Why am I here?

Where am I?

Hands take hold of me

Pulling me away

WAIT!

I cannot leave

I must say goodbye

My body lays on the ground

Open wounds still flowing

Face at ease

Body at peace

Freedom, at last

One final glance of my former self

A pathetic child

You never listened

You never opened your eyes to see

You never took the time

And you never understood

Now you got what you deserved

Blood stops

Coldness sets in

Tears are shed

And the doors close

 Bled out dry

Will extinguished

Dreams erased forever

My death on your hands

That of which can never be washed away.
