My Demon Angel

I release the angel of darkness from inside my heart
I free myself from hate, from jealousy, from envy, & from all unnatural desires
I cleanse my mind, my soul, & my fragile heart of all prior poisonous indulgences
May you, seductive being from above, find your home in another's warm heart and protect it
For I was unlucky and held you within mine against your will
I knew better than to tame a disturbed beast from the unknown
But the hope from my love wagered differently
In the end I lost and you won
You destroyed me from within, gaining your freedom
The pain will heal 
The memories will fade
But my heart will never be whole again for you unconsciously stole my love, that of which has yet to be returned
