I missed you

I missed you

A Poem by c0ffeep0etry

The thunder outside my window
Resembles one of your meltdowns
The sand falling through my fingers
Feels like your lovely broken skin
I covered my arms in red art
Just so I could remember you

But in the process of my mourn
I transformed into who you were
You showed me your dark dusty soul
And then you left me all alone

I recreated your being
So I could still feel your presence
It worked out better than I thought
Because now the art is spilling
And it's on the floor, as am I
And I can see your face again.
