Without a Little RainA Poem by C.J.G.Yin and Yang. They always say, There’s no rainbow without a little rain, No true smiles without a few tears, No genuine happiness without having felt pain, No burning passion without empty apathy, No sincere love with without knowing hate. But Why can’t
rainbows rise out of sunshine? Why can’t true smiles
last through the seemingly sad? Why can’t genuine happiness
manifest and cease to grow? Why can’t burning passion
set a fire that’s impossible to burn out? And why can’t
sincere love encompass a soul forever? If only. But There’s a reason strength knows not of itself Without having encountered weakness. One knows not of the truly good without knowing of the truly
bad, Knows not of yang without knowing of yin. And so, As they say, There’s no rainbow without a little rain. © 2011 C.J.G.Reviews
