Nose Dive

Living has worn me down
Life has taken the sparks from my eyes
The fast beat of my heart
It has grinned me down to the bare minimal
I'm a ghost
A robot
I feel yet feel nothing at all
I hurt yet the pain feels like the norm
I cry yet the tears never show
My mind is on autopilot
And this plane is headed south
It is picking up speed as its wings start to crumble
I'm taking a nose dive into darkness
And I see no light at the end of this tunnel.

This is a sad, but good poem. I can relate to this as well. I'm sorry though. It is hard to go through. I think in general a lot of people have a nose dive in life. Thanks for sharing.

I could TOTALLY relate to this. There are so many things that are made to benefit us only to drag us down.... life sure is unpredictable, and the only thing we could do is take on the unknown. to nose dive.

this is so true for me. Sometimes, I get hurt repeatedly, I just feel numb inside. Just let me be and I'll let you be -- that's my mentality. Great write. A poem that could surely relate to many, since we're all humans. Keep it up dude

. somehow ... this darkness is so beautiful ... gentle and appealing ... i don't know if that light even was ... but i know this tunnel ... mine has stinging bees and wasps in it ... i wonder sometimes if my eyes are swollen from wailing or the stings ... they say we get better at coping with time ... i'm still waiting for time to say time's up ... it always seems like one is doing time ...

This is really sad. I definitely know that feeling. Like you're not in control, just mindlessly watching as everything goes down hill. But it never rains forever. Eventually you pull back up. I hope that if you're feeling like this, you feel better soon.
