Mind Bomb

Mind Bomb

A Poem by C.J.G.
"

I'm ready to explode.

"
My mind is a bomb ready to explode
With strings of ideas plummeting into the air
and slowly floating and trickling down

I'm on a mountain
With my mouth open as wide as the sun
But my desperate scream will not come out

It's scared
It's hiding from the judging face this world is full of
It is trapped

To scream at the top of these delicate lungs
Would suffice as to fill this void of confusion
Until someone bothers to listen

All I want is to be heard
To have all these thoughts enter another's body
And infect their mind like they did mine

And yet, I do not know what I would say or where to begin
No words come to mind that fit to explain these convoluted thoughts
No expression can convey this bomb.

This bomb is ready to explode
And these ideas will take over your world
Just like they did mine.

. you're a genius with a potent mind ... it steers your words beautifully ... is a joy to be infected ... ticking time bombs are rare ... especially when most bombs with potential get soggy after the rains ... a lethal read ... with an amazingly earnest narrative ...

I think this was great. I feel like I am going to explode right now. I think this really describes what I'm feeling at this moment. Thanks for sharing.

I hope to be around when the bomb in your mind explodes. We need some good minds to enter the world and make it better. I like this poem. I believe the brains of the world are too quiet. Need a easy way for the smart folks to take over this world and end the B.S. Look at the United Nation. Their purpose was to create peace. What happen there? A excellent poem.

This poem is a mind bomb seeking its own detonation device.

The detonation device is the thoughts these thoughts are seeking: images juxtaposed of emotive charge. Images liberated by the urge to emerge outshining fear of judgment.

"And yet, I do not know what I would say or where to begin
No words come to mind that fit to explain these convoluted thoughts
No expression can convey this bomb."

Let your ear find the word-images to set the detonation device.

I love the last stanza. Great thoughts. Creativity is like a bomb. It builds up and builds up until you release it and your thoughts shatter and "infect" everyone else. Then you start again. Nice work.

Loved this :) Especially this part:

"To scream at the top of these delicate lungs
Would suffice as to fill this void of confusion
Until someone bothers to listen

All I want is to be heard
To have all these thoughts enter another's body
And infect their mind like they did mine

And yet, I do not know what I would say or where to begin
No words come to mind that fit to explain these convoluted thoughts
No expression can convey this bomb."

You convey your emotions well, and I loved your imagery. A wonderful piece to read :)
