(Just) Me.

I’ve never felt the ache of a lost love one

I’ve never been diagnosed with a deadly disease

I’ve never fought for my country

 

I have lost people who mean the world to me

I have held the hand of a sick best friend

I have fought for myself

 

I’ve never moved to a place I’ve never been to

I’ve never seen any seven wonders of the world

I’ve never seen someone take their life

 

I have moved my heart all over this country

I have seen the wonder of my world

I have heard someone whisper their wish to end it

 

I’ve never been the best

I’ve never reached the ultimate

I’ve never felt the need

 

Because I have been my best

And I have triumphed my ultimate

And I have been sufficiently happy living as such.

 

I’m nothing special. I’m just me.

Just being you is the most special. To understand that there really is no best and even better is a an evil that has created infinite destruction. For one to be better than someone most be worse. What pain we inflict with this.
