(There's only one) You.

(There's only one) You.

A Story by C.J.G.
"

Be you.

"

It’s amazing how one motion, one word, one gesture, can make another see who you really are. Whether it is the light in your eyes that shines inspiration and hope, or it is the tweak in your smile that radiates the person you really are. Your face can depict your entire story, if you let it. If your nostrils flare because you are lying, or nervous. If your eyes glimmer so innocently. If your smile invokes another to smile simply because you did. This story is then passed on. By being who you are, you leave footprints on people’s heart that are forever lasting. Most of the time, people use the phrase “I wear my heart on my sleeve” as a negative characteristic, but I think it is the most wonderful gifts you can possess. You heart is your mind, your soul, your aspirations, your imagination, you. If you expose this vulnerable, yet complete heart, you are unforgettable.

This was a great collection of thoughts here. A very positive philosophy to live by.

This sets out its insights really well. Good rhythms and perceptions. Very mature!

You might want to look at use of "you", "I" - be sure who is talking - "I" comes in suddenly rather late - switching can be confusing? Just a thought - but I enjoyed it
