God found me again

God found me again

A Story by c k doley

                                                             1

Dear fellow brother or sister I am become but an instrument of God. My satisfaction and fulfillment lies in producing divine music. And in doing so I come closer to His gates…

I will come back to you my lord. Your tune is calling me to your abode. I will sit on your feet again and make warm our home. The lamps will be lighted again, the curtains pushed aside. Silence will whisper calm soothing words of love to us through the gentle breeze. And I, lying on your feet will be the happiest lover on earth. I would have found peace at last.

My mind a poison tree,

Poisonous is my fruit.

Look at me from left or right;

You will see me frowning in poison.

The poison pains and blocks

Every pore and nerve in me.

O please purify me!

O please open up my blockage!

Let my leaves turn green again,

And let me please bear nourishing fruit.

Let me be an artist’s green tree.

O please let my greenness bring forth joy!

I, a poison tree, let no more be a poison tree.

        Amen

The metaphorical message of the poisonous tree wanting to be set free is very creative. This piece is well-crafted and penned. Great job.
