Waiting, Watching, Walking

Waiting, Watching, Walking

A Poem by Matt M.

Its a Description poem made in my english class thought I'd share.

Waiting, Walking, Watching

I see hills and valleys everywhere,
Waiting, Watching, Walking,
I smell that death is near,
Still waiting watching walking,
Silvery clouds stroll from up above,
To down below of crooked toes,
With a twist of that one knows,
Yet still stalking
Death is waiting walking watching,
A friendly smile looks up to me
As she stares at me
Waiting, Walking, Watching

I meet her stare smile and all,
For behind those lips is a rotting smile,
Face puckered ready for a kiss,
I run away,
She sits back down and knits away,
Death is lurking,
Waiting walking watching
Suddenly oh so stiff,
Oh no one knows,
My grandmothers glimmering grey flesh just laying there,
Death finally caught up to her,
For he no longer is,
Waiting, Watching, Walking

This was the day my great grandmother died. It represents her. How I do miss her dearly
