an Oldie ...about Our lame-duck ....addressing .. "we should make sure home is right "... I mean if our own house isn't in order...then ..... ( what does that say )
1stlet me say …I love my country…and although I don’t agree with Bushs’ political moves …I still pray for him ..better to pray for the President you havethan ….the one that you don’t.I wrote this after his girls got busted underage in a bar in town when they attended Yale University. I felt bad after 911 and no longer performed this for a while.

“ Bushy-man ….Bushy-man…the polls are are still warm
Last Sunday (8th Feb.) President and Mrs. Bush honoured Abraham Lincoln's 199th Birthday. President Bush remarked, "He was a fabulous man, and a great President. His life was one of humble beginnings, and steadfast convictions. And so we celebrate his deeds, we lift up his ideals, and we honour this good man." The key words being - we lift up his ideals.
On the same day, this statement was reported;
'About 3.5 million US residents (about 1% of the population), including 1.35 million children, have been homeless for a significant period of time. Over 37,000 homeless individuals (including 16,000 children) stay in shelters in New York every night. This information was gathered by the Urban Institute, but actual numbers might be higher.'
And theses are just the official guess-taments!
Bushy-man, bushy-man, who's got the spin! Great write - says it all really!
Had to come back to this. I get all warm inside when you get political. Although I'm sure it's been said already, you have the right to throw the fist in the air.
I feel outnumbered a million to one. I don't agree with all of Bush's Policies, but I actually like our president. Lots of liberals here! :)
I always like Political Poems and writings.
I did like your poem, and the way it flowed.
I don't agree with It, but I like it none the less.
God Bless America and our President. You are right. Even if you don't like them. You should pray for them.
Hah, I love the content and intent of this piece. I would have loved to hear it spoken with the intended nuances of voiced emotion though as I feel that would have brought this to a whole new level.
.better to pray for the President you have than .the one that you wish you had. =>>>>>>>>>this is fantastic my dear ! Excuse me for reviewing it so late!
I love your political consciousness. I think, each aera goes to the end and we hope that he won't do more imperialism and worser than he did.
I LOVE IT!!!!! Our country has gone to hell in a hand basket. As if one term wasn't enough we have to endure a second. Thank God we have term limits.

Haliburton, Cheney, ENRON, US Federal Lawyers, outing spies, destroying families with a war that should have never been started, this administration is worse than a gaggle of lawyers talking out of both sides of their mouths. (I still want to be a lawyer, and yes I will talk out of both sides of my mouth to win for my client).
OH! FINALLY SOME THING BOUT BUSH! i was soooo waiting for a piece that talks bout bush and his oh so many flaws. thankx for keepin it real, but i no what ur sayin bout how u felt bad for EVERYONE in the country and not performing it, but i think this is a very good piece cuz of how it flows perfectly on a subject to another. & i appriciate the reveiw.
Very nice J., a very profound, and intelligent piece...too many Bush bashers out there giving our voice a bad name. Very expressive with good flow, an "A+" piece. Take care doll and have a good week :)
