You Sure Must Be Stupid

You Sure Must Be Stupid

A Poem by byronabelband

(D)YOU SURE MUST BE STUPID,
IF YOU THINK IM THAT(G)STUPID.
(A)YOU TELL ME WHAT TO BUY, AND HOW TO
(D)USE IT. YOU TELL ME EVERY NIGHT,
WHAT I THINK SHOULD BE (G)IMPORTANT.
(A)YOU SURE MUST BE STUPID, IF YOU THINK IM THAT
(D)STUPID

WELL THE T.V. AND THE RADIO, MAKE ME LAUGH
THEY TELL ME WHO I THINK IS THE NEXT JOHNNY CASH
THEY TELL ME I AM SMART IF I DRIVE A PRIUS
AND THEY WHISPER AMONG THEMSELVE'S,
EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE US

CHORUS:

COMMERCIALS AND THE INTERNET, ARE GOOD AT LIES
GOT THE WHOLE WORLD GOING TO THEM, WHEN WE WANNA KNOW WHY
JUST GOOGLE IT AND EXPECT TO FIND THE TRUTH
NEXT WEEKS IS A DIFFERANT ANSWER,
COZ ITS WHO PAID WHO?

CHORUS:
