We Damb Well Need It

We Damb Well Need It

A Poem by byronabelband

(A)I DAM WELL HATE IT, WHEN IM CAUGHT IN A LIE
(D)I DAM WELL HATE IT, WHEN IM SO SCARED I CRY
(E)I DAM WELL HATE IT, WHEN IM ASKED MY ALIBI
I DAM WELL (A)HATE IT

I DAM WELL HATE IT, WHEN IMMIGRANTS COME
DEGRADE MY COUNTRY, THEN PULL OUT A BOMB
THEY TRY TO BLOW US, TO KINGDOM COME
I DAM WELL HATE IT

I DAM WELL HATE IT, WHEN CHILDERAN ARE SCARED
THEIR CUPBOARDS ARE EMPTY, THE FRIDGE IS BARE
WHEN MOM AND DADS, JUST DONT CARE
I DAM WELL HATE IT

I DAM WELL HATE IT, WHEN SOMEONE DECIEVES
NO THOUGHT OF HONOR, ONLY SELF PLEASE
SAD TRUTH IS, WE ALL HAVE THAT DISEASE
I DAM WELL HATE IT

IM LOOKING FORWARD, TO THAT DAY
THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, CLEANSE OUR WAY
WE KNEEL DOWN, WE CONFESS AND PRAY
WE DAM WELL NEED IT!
