Headed South On A Train

Headed South On A Train

A Poem by byronabelband

(A)This ramblin in my brain
Is driving me insane
The whiskey that I drink
Cant even numb the pain

Chasing away those memories
Thats dropped me to my knees
It hurts so bad, to see theyre past
How long will it last

Thats why theyre leaving now, heading south on a train

Theyre on a road to nowhere now
That ole war just didnt work out
All theyre dreams are gone, someone was wrong
That war it didnt work out

Thats why theyre leaving now, headed south on a train
