(D)One night I was asked to (G)sing some Kareoke
(A)I looked through that whole repituae
And felt like an ole (D)Oikee.
I couldnt tell you half of those names and I couldnt (G)tell you what they sang.
(A)They told me it was country music, but to me it Didnt sound the (D)same  :(stop)

Wont you give some (G)Waylon, Willie, David Allen Coe
(D)something with a country beat.
(G)Roger Miller, Johnny Cash, (E)those boys cant be
(A)beat. You got some (G)Kristopherson, Hank Williams
(D)what about ole Cris Ledouxe (G)If you put those names in that book, then I'll (A)sing a song for
(D)you

One night I went on a date, and all it was going well. Till I popped in ole Merle Haggard, she said "What the Hell"? I pulled that truck to the side of the road and I said "Baby goonight, I'd rather be with ole Merle tonight and leave you wondering why".
