A Good Honest Man

A Good Honest Man

A Poem by byronabelband
"

Self exlanitory

"

(D)A good man is a threat (G)to some in this life
(A)ridiculed and cheated, just out of (D)spite
Sometimes he's bridled, held by the reigns
used by strenth, by those who are vain

A good man is liked, when wanted from him
Cursed when he says no, like he just committed sin
A good man is prized, by a woman who knows
his strenth and weakness, by love that he shows

Good men are plenty, though you wouldnt think
he may be captured, by smile or wink
Provide for themselves, childeran and wife
Bring you to the ground, if you sneek in at night

Many wemon pray, for a good honest man
Get angry and leave them, and never understand
That a gentle strong, good honest man
Will never be putty, in someones hand
