Will I Ever Get Over You ?

 

My heart, you sure did steal
In heaven, I sure did feel

 

In my arms, right from the start
I thought surely, we would never part

 

Those loving days, long gone by
I still miss you, I can not lie

 

In my heart, you will always remain
I wish I knew, just who to blame

 

I have been blamed for many things, as trouble brews
But I have done nothing, but stay hopelessly in love with you

 

I pray to God, to turn back the hands of time

To when I thought you loved me, and you would still be mine

 

My whole body trembles, as I write this Poem
Alone through this countryside, again I must roam

 

With lonely time gone by, and a tear for you, still in my eye

How can I go on without you, how do I say goodbye

 

I must try to shake you, from my heart
So a new life, I somehow can start

 

Part of my heart, will always love you

For some reason I was drawn back to this
beautiful write tonight. It seems we humans
cant find a way of letting go of something
that made us feel so good and I really dont
think that is necessairly a bad thing. We
just need to tuck it away where it no longer
hurts while keeping the ablility to pull the good
aspects back out when we need that feel good
feeling again. Sweetie we all do it.. or atleast I do

This is truly beautiful my friend. One day you will
find a heart deserving of all the love you have to offer.
and That I Promise You.... God would not let something
so beautiful go to waste... Smile

Oh my friend how I can relate to this....

In my heart, you will always remain
I wish I knew, just who to blame

I have learned thru life's wicked little twists
that my heart has many chambers and I have
never fell out of love only tucked it away in a
place where it no longer hurts.
I just can not let bitterness take hold and upon
hindsite of close objective reflection I gave all I
had and because it was not enough was not my fault
but the fault of the one I gave my love to receive it.
I cant deal with maybe's of if I had done this or that
for I was 100% me and that is all I can be. If it is not enough
then I can not take that as being my failure. I am who I am...
Once again your write has churned many thoughts and feelings
with in and I love it when I read something that makes me step
out of me and take a good hard look...
