Love Poem

 

 

 

" True Love "

 

True love is a rare gift, sent from above
Not all receive or even understand, this passionate love

True love can be, a diamond in the rough
No other love, will ever be enough

intoxicating desires, raging through ones veins
Its enough to drive even, the most sound mind insane

Passionate emotions, begin to run wild
A nuclear explosion, would even seem mild

You will feel blessed, when receiving this precious jewel
To mistreat this treasure, one would be a fool

Immersed in feelings, that will shake your very soul
More precious than diamonds, more precious than gold

Your heart soars, far above the earth and the sun
Away from these feelings, you can not run

To give her the heavens, does not even seem enough
To find just the right gift, sure gets tough

" Pure true love ", ~ far deeper than any diamond mined
These deep feelings within my heart, ~ will forever stand the test of time

When you do find " True Love "
You will know, ~ for the feelings and emotions filling your heart,
will be so intense, you will be somewhat confused.
You will have more passionate emotions, than you can ever imagine!!
These emotions will be so intoxicating, they will awaken inner feelings,
so deep within your own heart, ~ it may scare you.

It will do you no good to try to escape, for you can't run from your own heart.

I pray that I will be fortunate enough, to have these feelings for someone else
Someone who has the same true feelings for me!!!

Wow...this poem really speaks to and from the heart....if i were to ever find a love like this I woould know I was in heaven for sure.
