The Pirates Cove

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
The pirates have landed, its time for some fun
They have been sailing the oceans blue
Count yourself lucky, that they didn't find you

Days they have sailed, they've been on the run
Not one night of rest, without firing their gun

Time to hide the treasure, and then drink all that rum
They have landed at pirate's cove, for a wild night of fun

They drank all the rum, I'm to understand
It wasn't long, before the swords were in the hand

They had so much rum, their faces had turned green
Soon there was a fight, like you have never seen
Their night at pirates cove, should have been grand
But now there were two fools, rolling around in the sand

They were fast putting, the swords in hand
It was not long before, there stood but only one man

The cove was soon filled, with a deathly sound
Now lays one, deep within the ground
A pirates life no one, will ever understand
With the exception perhaps, of the man left behind in the sand

There is something whimisical and humorous about these
pirates and their night of drinking. Men and their drinking LOL!
There is a good flow here, and good visual of the action.

A pirates life does not sound grand even for the one left behind in the sand. Sword fighting and rum and always on the run, sure doesn't fun to me..... Happy I'm not a pirate at sea. I think I rather be just plain old me....LOL .....Loved the write.... Sorry about trying to be witty ...in a strange mood today...forgive me.

Being an ex-sailor, I'm always drawn to these salty tales. No rum or sword had I---just my knuckles and a lot of beer.
