Lady Of The Lake

Lady Of The Lake

A Poem by Ray Hamilton

Lady Of The Lake

My heart is lonely, for goodness sake
Where is that lovely lady of the lake

She would be a beauty, yes natures best
Who would love, and hold me to her breast

Eyes that sparkle, like the stars above
Someone special, that I could always love

Her lovely body glows, in the moon lit sky
A Goddess from heaven, that tells no lies

Her hair blowing, in the nights gentle breeze
Lord guide her to me, if you please

The days are so lonely, the nights are so long
Lord please tell me, where do I belong

Nice work, I like it. It even has a story book feel to it.
and if you do find a woman to fit this poem,
Holla back, let my know if she has a sister. (peace.....)

That's a very heart-felt plea, and one which I can relate to. Well done! Sam
