~Return From Individuation

~Return From Individuation

A Poem by Katherine Wyatt

In my earliest memories I envisioned your semblance

We, being in the youth of this cycle of our present incarnations

Individuated and not seeming to traverse the same physical situations

I sensed you, like a piece missing from the puzzle of my own soul

You were requisite, even then, to complete the Self and restore us to whole

Reflections of eyes that mirrored back to me pieces of my Self

Yet evading me,  caught in this body, returning in dreams with stealth

Memories of a time we shared in a time and place I cannot place

Your features emerge then are shadowed, and yet a universes away cannot erase

The sacred  union that gave birth eons ago within the Heart of grace

Your essence dances beckoning to me from another place

Close my eyes and trace the outlines of your young but ancient face

The embers stirring memories in dream state''s lucid streams

In other forms we embraced, entangled, beneath green canopies of trees

Unable to bend time and space to reach you though I perceive

The strong features of your precious face crossing time's boundaries

In dust devil breeze I feel your touch crossing the planes of reality

The butterfly wing brushes my cheek and whispers you name to me

In languages familiar (yet words I cannot place) yet your message is received

You touch my dreams lightly in the Valley of the Flowers where we made love

Your spirit alights upon the wind, gazes at me wistful in the eyes of mourning doves

Fragrance of divinity rises, evanescence disguises you, a bridge across universes formed

In the chalice of the heart I grieve the absence of my other half in this life unborn

Secrets in clandestine chambers in days spent in the Fertile Crescent

Trembling like butterfly wings, memories in my heart, yearning for your essence

From incarnation to incarnation our faces changed but did nought

Despite the endless continuum that parts us, your shadow in my breath is caught

You sing to me of ancient things in the ethereal not here, yet not  forever lost

The amethyst and sacred stones from holy mother rivers where we waded

Contain holograms that resonate shared moments, the hunger, never sated

In summertime the sunset paints hidden pictures of where I might find you

Clouds surround the memories that call to me more real than this form's truth

In ancient tongues I call you to me to touch more than your memory

Glances of the agony of partition traced upon your countenance at times I see

Once we roamed together over lush green, holding hands and hearts unbound were free

Then there was the time before the separation where we were One no you or me, or we

So come to me my love, hold me, caress me my lover and let us no longer be separate

Cross the boundaries of time and space no longer leaving me images to, yearning, interpret

Cross the bridge across forever, speak to me in ancient tongues we once knew  and call my name

Let the fire catch the fire and through eternity re-enjoin twin flame to flame

About
I am the song the trees whisper in the wind. I am the strength of the mighty mountains. I am the song of the birds in the morn. I am always being reborn. I am a traveler in and out of space and time... more..
