A Poem by Katherine Wyatt

Enthralled I strung together rose petals.to place around your neck

As once again we emerge from individuation to individuation

 carrying starlight on our fingertips.

Wearing robes of sunlight, you are my eternal return

love unrestricted by births or deaths.

having survived countless farewells across time,

you return to me in sapphire skies and sunsets spilling crimson upon the soft Earth

Chronicles are hidden in lattice worked bridges of yesteryear

archived in the language of ancient indigos.

recording all the lifetimes we crossed to renew our sacred trysts.

My garlands are now all lain at your feet as sacred offerings

Worshipping this love fresh as dew on the morning grass

 We are windswept

We lay together slowly waking

as I run my fingers through the long strands of your hair….

braided in moonlight adorning you,

me with flowers in my own

   petals spread across the pillows

Us-ness at play in the cosmos.

I find you within the clouds and mists of our harmonies.

     We are

          eternal melodies held only

for a few fleeting moments

About
I am the song the trees whisper in the wind. I am the strength of the mighty mountains. I am the song of the birds in the morn. I am always being reborn. I am a traveler in and out of space and time... more..
