~mists and wantingA Poem by Katherine WyattThere was fire on the waters as vast as our connection under a slate gray sky glazed in cloud cover as the thick summer air warmed us to glowing
Rippling across flaming light the rumbling of heat
thunder with such soft vapors mixed a delicate cocktail of humidity fusion, blended with a feminine rain A most sweet, and passionate potion
Sun steaming in bleeding pinks and crimson as half a moon
hanging in the sky refracted light soft and shimmering through the watermist witnessing a kiss, an embrace as our bodies were wet and
wanting there I caught that moment wrapped it
gently, enfolded it in my spirit forever how ancient we are… how human © Katherine Wyatt 2016 All Rights Reserved © 2016 Katherine Wyatt |
