My Baby Girl

I can't wait to see your beautiful face,

your beautiful eyes full of life,

your little hands and feet,

how sweet it'll be when you look at me,

 

I can't wait to hold you in my arms,

I love you already so very much,

when I see you I'll be overfilled with joy,

a beautiful memory to be kept forever in my heart,

 

The day you are born I'll always remember,

how you cried for the first time,

your first breath of life,

how the memories will start,

that will be stored forever in my heart.

I wrote this poem for my mom's friend's baby shower she hasn't given birth yet but is due in June! :) I hope you guys like it! :)
