TIRED OF BEING UNCLEAN AND UNFITTED

I AM TIRED OF BEING MISTREATED!      

I'VE HAD IT!!!
I'VE HAD IT WITH FORCED ENTRIES
I'VE HAD IT WITH BEING PIERCED THROUGH
I'VE HAD IT WITH THE PAIN OF BEING CUT
I'VE HAD IT WITH DISEASES TRANSMITTED

At first glance, I didn't know how to take this poem. I honestly did not, then I figured it was degrading, no, it was respectful of women.. but how? I wasn't sure how to take this poem until reading it over and over, then, I became familiar with the ways in which you began to celebrate womahood and give our vagina's a voice and say in the matter. We are not toys, nor cattle, we cannot and will not be traded. You are refreshingly honest with the male species and it is amusing to read this. I am proud that I have read this, and trust me, I will be recommending it to as many friends as I can.

i love this ! our womanhood is both degraded and celebrated depending on the context. Speaks to the constraints that society places on the female, the fact that we must negotiate our identities within a discourse that decides when we w****s and when we are pure.

This is amazing Emmie, my poetic sensitiblities are scandalized and greatly amused by this! The fact that's the vaginal capitals take place, informs the reader as to the serious of the accusations. I would love to read more frank and funny poems like this. It's feminine, in full possession of feminite taste, I cannot fault such a write.
